This policy explains what information MYRPW collects, how it's used, and the controls you have over it. It's written to describe what the product actually does — if a future version of MYRPW changes how something here works, we'll update this page rather than leave it describing an old version of the product.
Information we collect
To operate the service, MYRPW collects and stores:
- Account information — email, username, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), and any profile details you add
- Content you create — posts, Tales, Stories, Characters, World lore, comments, and messages
- Media you upload — images, video, and audio attached to your content or messages
- Social activity — follows, reactions, comments, shares, and who you've blocked, muted, or restricted
- Safety records — reports you file or are named in, and moderation decisions
- Device and session information — login sessions and security events like new-device logins
How we use it
We use this information to run the core product: authenticating you, showing you a feed and recommendations, delivering messages and calls, powering Rooms and Worlds, and responding to reports. MYRPW shows ads as part of how the service is funded — we don't claim to be an ad-free or tracking-free platform, and this policy shouldn't be read to imply otherwise.
MYRPW does not currently process payments or offer purchasable coins, gifts, or store products. If that changes in a future version, this policy will be updated to describe what's collected before those features go live.
Private messages and Room communications
Direct messages and Room conversations are not routinely or continuously monitored by MYRPW staff. We do not have a standing practice of reading private message content as a matter of course.
Authorized personnel may access limited communications when reasonably necessary for one of these specific reasons:
- Investigating a specific user report
- Responding to suspected abuse or a safety/security incident
- Handling a moderation or account-support matter that requires it
- Complying with a legal requirement
- Protecting a user from harm
This kind of access uses internal authorization controls and, where technically appropriate, is logged for audit. It is the exception, tied to a specific reason, not a general monitoring practice.
Separately: message content is encrypted at rest on our servers. This is not end-to-end encryption — MYRPW's own systems can still decrypt message content when necessary for the reasons listed above.
Your controls
- Set your profile to private, and choose public, followers-only, or close-friends audiences per post or Tale
- Block, mute, or restrict any account
- Filter unwanted comments, messages, and notifications with hidden words
- Review your active login sessions and turn on login alerts for new devices
- Export a copy of your profile and content data, or request account deletion, from account settings — see our Account Deletion page for how that works
Retention
Safety and security records (reports, moderation decisions, security events) are kept as long as needed for security and abuse prevention. If you delete your account, deletion follows a 30-day grace period rather than happening instantly, and logging back in during that period cancels the deletion request. Some information may be retained afterward where reasonably necessary for legal, security, or abuse-prevention purposes — full details are on the Account Deletion page.

We'll update this page when what we do changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of the page.
